Recipes for Success Chef's Challenge

Our 2023 Chefs’ Event will feature local restaurants and caterers in a cooking challenge similar to the Food Network’s program “Chopped”. We will be supplying the chefs with the main food ingredients that make up our weekly bags. Their CHALLENGE will be to create delicious recipes by embellishing the products we provide to schoolchildren with seasonings, spices, protein and imagination. Each chef will prepare tasting-size portions of their creations for our limited number of attendees to enjoy. This event will be exciting, fun, educational and much smaller than our past events to allow for social distancing and COVID precautions. We are thrilled to announce that we will be honoring the Maryland Food Bank for all they have done to partner with us, especially over the past three years. Thanks to their support and yours we have been able to grow exponentially throughout the pandemic and sustain that growth as we move forward.
